At Ohio Spine and Injury, we understand that starting chiropractic care can come with questions. Whether this is your first-ever visit to a chiropractor or you’re returning for ongoing care, our goal is to make the experience clear, comfortable, and centered on your goals.
From your initial evaluation to follow-up treatments, we focus on understanding your body, identifying the root cause of your pain, and helping you heal—naturally.

Here’s what you can expect when you visit our Mansfield clinic.
01
Warm Welcome & Intake
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our friendly front office team. If you’ve already completed your online forms, we’ll quickly confirm your information. If not, we’ll help you fill them out in-office.

We value your time and aim to make check-in fast and easy. Have questions? We're happy to answer them before your exam begins.
One-on-One Consultation
Next, you’ll meet with Dr. Peter Markovic to discuss:

-
Your current symptoms (pain, limited mobility, etc.)
-
Any past injuries or conditions
-
Lifestyle factors that may affect your spine and nervous system
-
Your personal health and wellness goals
This consultation is your chance to tell your story—so we can better understand how to help you.

Range of motion assessment
-
Muscle strength testing
-
Orthopedic and neurological tests
-
Functional movement evaluation
This step helps us determine the root cause of your discomfort and develop the most effective treatment plan.
Review of Findings & Care Plan
After your evaluation, Dr. Markovic will review his findings with you and explain:

-
What’s causing your symptoms
-
How your spine and nervous system are being affected
-
What treatments are recommended
-
How many visits may be needed
-
What kind of results you can expect
We’ll also go over any risks, alternatives, and your options for insurance or payment.

First Treatment (When Appropriate)
In many cases, your first chiropractic adjustment or therapy session can begin on the same day as your evaluation. If you’re in significant pain, we’ll focus on gentle, relief-based care to reduce discomfort quickly.

Treatments may include:
-
Chiropractic adjustments
-
Soft tissue therapy or myofascial release
-
Posture correction
-
Electrical stimulation (if appropriate)
-
Therapeutic exercises
-
Spinal decompression
Each plan is tailored to your condition, comfort level, and personal goals.
Ongoing Care & Follow-Up
After your first visit, we’ll schedule your follow-up appointment and guide you through your care plan. Many patients feel immediate improvement, while others see gradual results over several sessions.

We’ll track your progress carefully and make adjustments to your care as needed. Your feedback is always welcome—this is a partnership in healing.
